  • Turn Off— the TV, radio and Xbox.
  • Clear the clutter and create a calm dining atmosphere.
  • Bless your food.
  • Slow down—We are so rushed we forget to chew. This leads to poor digestion. Weight Watchers says to chew 30 times.
  • Breathe Deeply—but don’t inhale your food. Taking slow deep breaths before you eat. It helps and to cut stress, induces relaxation and prepares your body for your meal.
  • Take Notice—Take time to appreciate the appearance, aroma and texture of food will satisfy your senses— The bright red sweet apple bursting with flavor.

4 Fuel Essentials

  1. Purified Water: From the void that was water sprang all that is living on the Earth. Just check out Genesis 1:2. Our bodies are made up of 80 percent water, It’s replaced with High Energy High Sugar Drinks—which robs your nutrition and healthy cells in your mind. We need to make sure we are getting the best quality (free from as much pollutants as possible) into our bodies.
  2. Raw Beauty: Every meal you have should have more live over dead food. OK, were not telling you to have a live lobster crawling across your plate. We’re talking fruits and vegetables. (Get percentage of Raw food that needs to be consumed… Says Makers Diet author Jordan Rubin.) Fresh fruit and veggies raw or lightly steam have the most vitamin- packed punch.
  3. Know Your Grains: Gluten-free grains like brown rice, oats, quinoa, millet, buckwheat, amaranth are the healthiest options. Avoid any white bleached “think Clorox” flour.
  4. Protect your Gut: A probiotic encourages the growth and health of good intestinal bacteria. As with all supplements, check with your doctor before taking any probiotic.
